On April 07,  2008 in Baku with joint organization of ADB and Tariff (price) Council of Azerbaijan Republic CMERF ( CAREC Members Electricity Regulators’ Forum) workshop  started. The Workshop program has devoted to “Calculation of cost based tariffs”, where such topics as setting of tariffs, the role of regulators and others will be discussed.
About 40 representatives from USA, Mongolia, Philippine, China, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan    , as well as from Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Industry and Energy, “Azernergy” JSC, distribution companies  (Bakielecricshebeke, Sumgaitelectricshebeke) are participating in the workshop.
Workshop will continue until April, 2008.
